We have closed this fundraiser.  We did not quite make our goal, but we raised quite a bit of money towards the veterinary expenses. A big THANK YOU to everyone for your generosity!

We had some major veterinary expenses for Teddy Bear and Cezar.

Teddy Bear was diagnosed with mast cell tumors on 4/26.   The vet‘s recommendation was to surgically remove them and follow up with treatment.   Teddy Bear‘s initial surgery was on 5/21.  The pathology results came back and it was good news; however, a second lump was found on 6/30.   Please see Teddy Bear‘s profile for more details.

Cezar, who was a victim of animal abuse, had extensive medical expenses.  There were expenses for the initial surgery for his tail/rear wound, entropian surgery, neuter, and heartworm treatment.   This was followed by a rectal prolapse which required expensive surgery and another hospitalization.   Cezar has many supporters and we received many donations; however, after receiving all of the bills for his medical care, we were still close to $3,000 short of covering his expenses.
